Tanking in Headington, Oxford

• Advanced Damp were contacted by a local family in Headington, Oxford suffering from damp patches and signs of plaster damage. The customer previously had a damp survey and damp proofing but the damp had returned just 6 months after the original treatment. The previous damp was misdiagnosed as a rising damp issue.

What did we find?

• Severe moisture levels on the internal walls causing damage to the plaster.
• Porous brickwork and a tree attached to the wall was causing penetrating damp.
